Dragons Dream TIO - The colour purple and the letter "X"

Over at the Dragons Dream TIO Blog Julie Ann has chosen theme of purple and the letter "X" for our challenge.
I've made my tag from scraps of papers by My Minds Eye and an odd half doily, with a "hugs and kisses" sticker, and a stamped sentiment from Kaisercraft.
The white Prima flowers were spritzed with IndigoBlu metallic paints to change them into a gorgeous purple and pearls added to finished them off.
We would love to see your entries in our challenge, just follow the recipe and as always please remember to use at least one real stamp on your tag.

Kaisercraft - Rustic Harmony

I had a great day at Burleydam Garden Centre on Saturday, where I was lucky enough to be demoing the gorgeous Kaisercraft Rustic Harmony collection for Jones Crafts. Love the frame and the gorgeous pearls (which sold out).
Then I got to decorate this gorgeous little paper mache jewellery box.

Made a couple of scrapbook layouts ready for photo's to be added on to.

Decorated a Graphic45 tag and finally showed the Ladies how to make a secret pocket card from one sheet of 12x12 paper.
I love my job :)

Take It Make It Challenge - Christmas with a None Christmas Stamp

As you know our Take It Make It challenge at the Craft Stamper Blog is all about making a Christmas image from a non-Christmas stamp, so here goes..................
Per pick up a Penguin lol or rather a perfume bottle stamp from Joanna Sheen. I know I can't help my northern humour, and I love these quirky little fella's.
And by giving him some eyes in the loops of the ribbon, viola, a Penguin or three lol. They have some IndigoBlu gears for snowflakes, and I used the Kaisercraft Grunge font stamps to make the Noel.
So you still have plenty of time to enter, there's a fabulous set of stamps from The Artisic Stamper stamper up for grabs as well as having your work published in the magazine itself!

It's a Grey Day!

I've finally plucked up the courage to enter one of my scrapbook pages into the Scrapbook365 November Sketch Challenge. I've really got back into Scrapbooking again, so be warned family, I have photo's!
The sponsor this time is the Mixed Media Place who also have a new challenge, to use black, white, grey and one other colour, so I decided to combine the two !!
The papers, stickers and tags are from Basic Grey, and both the butterfly stamps and sentiment stamp are from Kaisercraft. The little treasure on the right is me, with my older Sister. It always makes me smile as I look so prim with my hands folded lol.
I struggled to get a good picture of my page as it's such a grey day here, with very little light, winter has arrived!
Thanks for looking, Elizabeth xxx

Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge November - Christmas Images with Non-Christmas Stamps

Our November Challenge at The Craft Stamper Magazine is to create a Christmas image from a non-Christmas stamp.
I've used the wings from Tim Holtz Regal Flourish set, stamped, cut in half and re-built as a Christmas tree.
I Christened my new favourite stamp by Birgit Koopsen for the background, and added a stamped out Bingo card with the number 25 on it.
Then finished off with some lights on my tree, it wouldn't be Christmas without them!!

We have the Artistic Outpost sponsoring us this month, with a fabulous bunting set of stamps up for grabs for our winner, who along with their fab prize will see their artwork in print in the magazine, and have a Guest Designer slot. Please leave us a direct link back to your project, and don't forget to include stamping!

Off to play with my new goodies after spending yesterday at the NEC.

Dragons Dream TIO # The letter "U" and a Quotation

Over at the Dragons Dream TIO Gabrielle has chosen the theme. She would like to see the letter "U" and a quotation on your tags.
I chose this Crafty Individuals stamp of London as it had the Union Jack flag on it, and at this time of year it seemed appropriate along with a Poppy.
My quotation is one of gratitude, something we all have for the brave that gave their lives so we could live.
